The Perplexed / Verwirrt is a notoriously difficult wooden and string puzzle designed for lovers of extreme logic challenges. True to its name, this puzzle truly perplexes the player with its elegant yet baffling mechanism. Its objective is seemingly simple: free the small string from the wooden frame . In practice, however, the path to the solution is long, subtle, and fraught with dead ends.

This model incorporates a new secret mechanism introduced in 2020 , consisting of several passages and intricate threads to unravel. After numerous manipulations, the player may find themselves with no apparent way forward… until a new clue is revealed. This alternation between total blockage and flashes of insight makes the experience particularly intense and memorable.

The difficulty is rated INCREDIBLE 5/6 , making Perplexe / Verwirrt a puzzle for experienced players. The average solving time varies greatly depending on experience and perseverance, ranging from about an hour to several months, or even a year . The solution is intentionally not included, in order to preserve the full depth of the challenge.

Handcrafted in Germany, this puzzle uses fine woods such as maple and wenge , combined with elements cut with extreme precision using laser cutting on thin laminated MDF . Each piece is carefully fitted, offering a high-quality feel and refined aesthetic.
